Undertaking high level technical projects & design oversight for multiple departmental stakeholders within the business, from Retail PoS systems to Production, warehouse & inventory management systems.

Leading a team with varying levels of IT knowledge and backgrounds to deliver daytoday IT support functions for the business, as well as delivering projects that aide the various functions of the business and its departments. From Web and Warehouse, toProduction and Retail.Understanding and having a good working knowledge of retail and supply chain business requirements and interdependant systems for producing and supplying an everexpanding Retail presence across the UK.Being the main focal point for each stakeholder, with the ability to deliver a technical roadmap to an audience of varying levels of technical knowledge & expertise.Working closely with Directors and Department Heads to find technical solutions that further the needs of the business or create more efficient ways of operating.Ensuring that all projects are adequate to form part of the longterm strategic goals of the relevant department and wider organisation.Identifying strategic opportunities for growth through technology & supporting the development of the Company's' technological roadmap in an efficient and deliverable fashion.Delivering key information to Directors & Stakeholders in regularly chaired meetings, where it is crucial to make sure all parties have a clear understanding and expectation of the projects being worked on and the end product that will be delivered. Proven track record as a Head of IT previously, or at a similar level, with experience in leading a team.Experience working on integration technologies, cloud platforms, information security, and a solid understanding of API design and frameworks, API gateways, API security & auditing, etc.Handson experience in delivery frameworksAgile and WaterfallDegree in either Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Design & Development, Engineering or Mathematics.Proven track record of leading a diverse team of varying expertise and skill level in delivering projects across varying technical disciplines.High level of knowledge, competence and experience in network security & infrastructure, encryption & data retention policies, as well as data protection requirements and safe data storage & processing.A problemsolving attitude and exceptionally high attention to detailExcellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to a nontechnical audience amongst stakeholders of varying backgrounds and with varying technical requirements to support their department's function(s).The ability to show proficient time & people management, and deliver projects in a timely and costefficient timeframe.
