Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and driven Managing Director to oversee the P&L and operational management of our business. The ideal candidate will provide strategic direction to teams across various disciplines, including electrical and software engineering, manufacturing, instrumentation, site services, and sales. You will be instrumental in professionalising and growing the business, optimizing operations, and achieving ambitious financial targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall responsibility for P&L and operational management of the business.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability.
- Lead and mentor teams in electrical and software engineering, manufacturing, instrumentation, site services, and sales.
- Optimise workflow in the manufacturing facility to improve productivity and responsiveness.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for sales, design, manufacturing, and site teams.
- Launch cost-reduction initiatives to manage project materials costs and support stock reduction KPIs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar general management role within the engineering or manufacturing sector.
- Strong strategic planning and operational management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015 standard implementation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM and project management systems.
