UI/UX Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled UI/UX Engineer with expertise in Web3 technologies to design and implement exceptional user experiences for our commodities DEX. You will shape the interface of our platform, ensuring it is intuitive, engaging, and optimized for trading real-world assets on the blockchain.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead UI/UX Design: Drive the design process, from conceptualization to high-fidelity mockups and prototypes.
  • Web3 User Experience: Create user interfaces that are user-friendly and security-conscious.
  • Trading Application Expertise: Design interfaces that meet the needs of traders in the context of tokenized commodities.
  • Rapid Prototyping: Use agile methodologies to iterate and refine designs based on user feedback and product requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders for seamless design and development integration.
  • User Research: Conduct research and testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
  • Accessibility: Ensure the platform is usable by a diverse audience.
  • Technical Implementation: Collaborate with frontend engineers to translate designs into functional user interfaces.


Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer or engineer with a strong portfolio showcasing Web3 projects.
  • Web3 Expertise: Deep understanding of blockchain technology, decentralized applications (dApps), and Web3 user experience principles.
  • Trading Application Experience: Familiarity with designing interfaces for trading platforms or financial applications is a significant plus.
  • Prototyping Skills: Proficiency in tools like Figma or Adobe XD to visualize and validate design concepts.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (or React).
  • User-Centric Approach: Strong passion for creating designs that prioritize usability and accessibility.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to evolving project requirements.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


Bonus Qualifications:

  • Commodities Trading Knowledge: Experience or interest in commodities trading.
  • Smart Contract Understanding: Familiarity with smart contract interactions and their implications for UI/UX design.
  • Open Source Contributions: Contributions to open-source blockchain projects.
