Konexo is an established alternative legal services division of Eversheds Sutherland, created to meet client demand for high quality, interim legal, HR and compliance professionals. Konexo Legal Resourcing is a well-established and fast growing team created to meet demand for high quality interim lawyers, paralegals and legal project managers to support both clients and internal Eversheds Sutherland teams.



Planning Lawyers


Konexo Legal Resourcing is receiving an increased demand for mid to senior level interim planning lawyers to support both Eversheds Sutherland and our in-house clients, which include some of the largest FTSE100 companies.


What you should have:

  • At least 5 years PQE experience as a planning lawyer.
  • A background gained either solely within private practice or in a mix of both in-house and private practice roles.
  • Experience of working on the planning and due diligence aspects of property development transactions and large infrastructure projects, particularly within any of the energy, utilities, real estate and transport sectors.
  • Experience of drafting and negotiating Section 106 Agreements and a broad range of other planning and highways agreements.
  • Experience of advising on compulsory purchase order matters, inquiries and judicial reviews would be beneficial, but is not essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, trouble shoot and problem solve in a create and innovative manner.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload with minimal direction, effective legal risk management and appropriate escalation of legal risk.
