The organisation, an internationally recognised leader in engineering and design, is seeking a Structural Engineer to join the team in their Shoreditch, London, office. What You'll Do

You’ll be working on cutting-edge structural engineering projects across a variety of sectors, including commercial, health, and retail, ensuring each design solution is innovative, practical, and sustainable. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Structural engineering design projects from concept through to completion, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Working with multidisciplinary teams to create holistic building solutions.
  • Attending project meetings and producing detailed designs and specifications, using advanced 3D software.
  • Conducting structural surveys and providing expert advice to clients on issues that arise.
  • Preparing design calculations, drawings, and specifications in accordance with British Standards, Eurocodes, and other design guidance.
  • Contributing to the technical agenda and CPD training to support your personal development and the growth of your team.

Who We're Looking For:

We’re seeking individuals who are inquisitive, creative, and collaborative, with:

  • A Masters’ degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of structural design in concrete, steel, and other materials, as well as experience working with Eurocodes and British Standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver innovative, practical structural solutions on complex projects.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently when required.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and engage with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
