Job Title: Permanent Recruitment Consultant – Driving Sector

Location: Basildon, Essex

About the Role:

We are seeking a driven and ambitious Permanent Recruitment Consultant to join our team, focusing on the Driving sector. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 12-18 months of recruitment experience to develop a new desk with significant potential for growth.

As a Permanent Recruitment Consultant, you will focus on business development, building strong client relationships, and securing new business. The role is office-based in Basildon, Essex.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a reputable recruitment agency, where professional development and training are key. You will manage client relationships across the Industrial and Driving sectors, with opportunities to expand into new regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow a new driving desk, focusing on both permanent and temporary recruitment.
  • Drive business development by identifying new clients and securing new business.
  • Source, screen, and place candidates for driving and industrial roles.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve recruitment targets.
  • Provide exceptional service to clients and candidates to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Contribute to the growth of the driving sector, with potential expansion into additional regions.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 12-18 months’ recruitment experience, ideally within a well-established agency.
  • Proactive, quick to learn, and highly adaptable.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to develop new business.
  • Motivated and target-driven, with a desire to grow a new desk.
  • Experience in the Driving and Industrial sectors is beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
