InterQuest are proudly supporting a well-established Financial Services institution, based in Manchester, with the search for a Data Protection Adviser. This is best suited to candidates with Data Protection experience from the FS sector.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures related to GDPR and the Data Governance Framework, and support the DPO in promoting data security importance.
- Maintain data controller registrations with the Information Commissioners’ Office and manage end-to-end processes for data subject access requests (DSARs).
- Ensure Data Protection policies and procedures are current, risk-based, and effective, and assist in developing training materials and awareness campaigns.
- Develop robust Data Risk Assurance to monitor policy effectiveness, conduct reviews of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIAs), and support the review of data protection clauses in contracts.
