Our client, a leader in the crypto and blockchain space, is seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel to join their London-based team. This pivotal role will place you at the forefront of navigating complex legal and regulatory landscapes across the UK and European regions, with a focus on governance, M&A transactions, and strategic legal counsel in the rapidly evolving world of digital finance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary legal counsel for UK and European operations, managing governance, employment, and corporate matters.
  • Provide legal advice on high-profile M&A transactions, including structuring, negotiation, and post-closing integration.
  • Develop and implement regulatory strategies for crypto asset activities across various business lines.
  • Liaise with the FCA and other regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with the latest regulations.


Qualifications:

  • A degree in Law with 5-8 years of experience in financial services.
  • In-house legal experience with a focus on M&A and regulatory frameworks in the UK and Europe.
  • Deep understanding of blockchain technology and the crypto ecosystem.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects.
