Jaques Int Ltd are a family run business based in Shobdon, Herefordshire. We have been designing and constructing high quality poultry and agricultural buildings for over 40 years.
We are looking to recruit a Finance Manager who will take responsibility for the financial health of the Company. Producing financial reports and developing strategies. Guiding senior staff in making sound business decisions in the long and short term. The main point of contact for the day to day running of Finance.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and distribution of internal financial statements and reports. Monthly closing process, including reconciliations and analysis of related accounts.
- Compiling Monthly Management Pack for analysis of the company position and working with the company appointed Accountants.
- Ensuring Creditor and Debtor days are adhered to.
- Managing the Debtor Process.
- Preparation and monitoring of cashflow forecasts, departmental and company budgets.
- Payroll for all employees, subcontractors, and shareholders. Reconcile reports detailing hours, deductions etc. The first line of contact for any payroll queries.
- Collation of weekly timesheets. Reviewing for accuracy and posting against the correct jobs.
- Collation of all costs on completion of projects, from EasyBuild & Operations , for interim and final invoices to be raised in a timely manner.
- Monitoring of all projects budget vs actual. Producing Profit and Loss reports highlighting margins achieved on jobs.
- Reviewing EasyBuild - ensuring the accuracy of all data input.
- Attend Meetings internally and externally as requested by the Managing Director.
- Attend Events as requested by the Managing Director.
- Be an active member of the team.

Qualifications:
- Finance qualification or relevant experience.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Circa 36 hours per week (between the hours 08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday) - flexible for the right candidate.
