Jaques Int Ltd is a well-established family business located in Shobdon, Herefordshire, with over four decades of experience in crafting top-quality poultry and agricultural structures.
We are currently in search of a Finance Manager who will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial well-being of the company. This individual will be responsible for generating financial reports, devising strategic plans, and providing guidance to senior management for informed decision-making both in the short and long term. Additionally, the Finance Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day financial operations.
- Prepare and distribute internal financial statements and reports.
- Lead the monthly closing process, including reconciliations and account analysis.
- Compile Monthly Management Pack for detailed company analysis in collaboration with appointed Accountants.
- Ensure compliance with Creditor and Debtor days.
- Manage the Debtor Process effectively.
- Develop and monitor cashflow forecasts, departmental, and company budgets.
- Handle payroll responsibilities for all staff, subcontractors, and shareholders, including reconciling reports and addressing payroll queries.
- Organize weekly timesheets, reviewing and accurately allocating hours to respective jobs.
- Collect all project costs for timely invoicing upon project completion.
- Monitor project budgets versus actual expenses and generate Profit and Loss reports detailing job margins.
- Oversee accuracy in EasyBuild data input.
- Participate in internal and external Meetings and Events at the request of the Managing Director.

Qualifications:
- Finance qualification or relevant practical experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Work Schedule: Approximately 36 hours a week (08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday) with flexibility for the right candidate.
