The Role

Hays are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Solution Tester to join our client on an short temporary assignment for an approximate duration of 6 months with the possibility of an extension.


Reporting to the Programme Manager; the post holder will be a key part of a high profile, well-funded strategic implementation project where IAG is looking to replace their existing upstream sourcing system. You will play a crucial role in contributing to the testing approach to ensure all integrations, business processes and deployed functionalities are fit for purpose and of high quality.


This will involve leading UAT testing sessions with stakeholders and users, developing testing plans per release phase and ensuring the testing is carried out to agreed levels and in line with the objectives of the operating model and business process or workflow.


The test manager will also assist in the set up of the test management and tracking tool and testing data as required for the project.


Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as a main point of contact when it comes to any information related to testing, testing resources, planning and testing priorities
  • Planning testing rounds
  • Preparation and engagement for upgrades (regression testing)
  • Setting up minimum documentation required for testing & regular refresh of testing environment(s)


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in UAT of software in large transformation projects within procurement
  • Experience writing Test plans for end to end testing
  • Strong communication & stakeholder management skillsets
  • Ability to manage and resolve conflict across teams
  • Experience with manual testing or simple tools like MS excel
  • Working in procurement domain
  • Demonstrable experience in managing a small team of Testers
  • Experience designing and implementing test frameworks and governance
