Warehouse Associate – Bromsgrove, United Kingdom

DESCRIPTION:

RBC Dodge Industrial Ltd is a manufacturer of bearings and mechanical power transmission products. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for receiving goods into the warehouse accurately, inspecting goods for damage or defects, shelving inbound stock, picking orders, and packaging orders for shipment. The Warehouse Associate will need to communicate with fellow staff and 3rd party transportation companies to arrange deliveries and collections. The Warehouse Associate will also be expected to contribute towards maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.

ESSTENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

• Receive, unload, and shelve incoming goods into the warehouse
• Pick ordered goods
• Package and prep outbound goods for shipment
• Inspect inbound and outbound goods for damage or defects
• Organize pallet storage and maximize warehouse capacity
• Use forklift and pallet truck to move palletized goods
• Identify areas for warehouse operation improvement and contribute best practice suggestions
• Abide by company health and safety policies
• Contribute towards maintaining a clean and organized warehouse

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Requirements

1. GCSE in Maths and English
2. Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment (experience with a Bendi forklift would be preferred, but not required)
3. Driving licence preferred but not required
