We are working closely with a growing international development and conservation focused organisation to find a Systems Accountant to lead them through an ERP implementation. After consistent growth, the team are looking to upgrade their digital function and are looking for someone to spearhead the transformation and lead all the way through to implementation, improvements and training. You will ideally be a qualified accountant with proven experience in a Microsoft Business Central implementation role within a complex organisation. This is initially a 9 month contract, and so we will prioritise candidates on a short notice. We will be reviewing CVs throughout the process so please apply as soon as you are able to.

Your Role

  • Lead the end-to-end financial system implementation, managing all stages from planning to go-live, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and meets strategic objectives.
  • Translate organisational needs into system requirements by conducting comprehensive needs assessments and stakeholder workshops.
  • Oversee and manage the data migration process, ensuring accurate transfer of financial data from legacy systems into the new system.
  • Develop and implement a detailed data reconciliation process, ensuring that all financial data, including transactions, ledgers, and historical records, are accurately mapped and validated post-migration.
  • Streamline financial processes, reducing manual input and inefficiencies by developing best practices that are aligned with organisational goals and supported by the new system.
  • Develop and configure reporting tools that provide financial and operational visibility across all entities, ensuring that management and donors have access to up-to-date and relevant data.


Your Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with post qualified experience in systems focused roles
  • Proven knowledge and experience of implementation projects
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central
  • Clear communicator and team leader
  • Happy to work autonomously
