OVERVIEW

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join a busy live music agency based in Camden, London, representing 500 touring artists. The key focus of the role will be to work alongside our existing Finance Assistants and Management Accountant to support the wider team with all admin duties. 



MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recording of bank transactions on QuickBooks, internal spreadsheets and booking 
  • software (Overture)
  • Purchase ledger entries 
  • Processing and distributing artist statements (balance sheet reconciliations)
  • Making payments to artists 
  • Chasing outstanding deposits and contacting external promoters
  • Working with Coordinators on show statements and foreign and UK tax implications
  • Filing and updating internal documents  
  • Assist in resolving financial queries from artist statements  
  • Assisting Management Accountant on ad hoc reports
  • Journal entries and PL/SL bookkeeping 
  • Processing employee expense claims
  • Multiple inbox management 
  • General ad-hoc admin support to Management Accountant and Finance Director 




KEY ATTRIBUTES

  • Strong data entry skills 
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Capable of working efficiently to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy with meticulous attention to detail
  • Well organised individual with the ability to remain calm during busy periods
  • High degree of computer literacy; especially excel with adaptability to learn new software systems 
  • Experience with QuickBooks is beneficial but not essential
  • Prior 12 months experience preferable AND/OR currently studying towards CIMA/ACCA/AAT qualification.

Monday – Friday 9.30am - 5.30pm

Hybrid working: Tues-Thurs in the office
