About the Role:


We are seeking an exceptional Head Chef with Michelin experience to join a prestigious establishment currently holding a 3-rosette standard. The successful candidate will lead the culinary team through an exciting period of growth, including the development of a new fine dining restaurant and events space. Their goal is to achieve a Michelin star, and we need a visionary leader to guide us there.


The hotel has over 30 bedrooms and has an exceptional reputation as well numerous accolades and awards.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and inspire a talented kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to create a cohesive and supportive working environment.
  • Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect the establishment's commitment to excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Manage kitchen budgets, inventory, and supply chain to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Mentor and train junior chefs, fostering their growth and development.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience in a Michelin-starred environment.
  • Exceptional culinary skills with a passion for fine dining.
  • Ability to manage and run multiple outlets not just fine dining.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a track record of building and maintaining effective teams.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Creative, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Strong employee retention capabilities and motivational skills.


Benefits:


  • Competitive salary of £52,000 basic.
