Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Insight Global are looking to hire a 'Senior Full Stack Software Engineer' for a leading credit rating company. This role will be focusing on enhancing the Orbis Database through innovative data delivery services. This role is pivotal in designing and implementing projects that boost our Data Solutions' growth, acting between legacy code base and latest in cloud technology. Working with agile frameworks (Scrum) and collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, you'll lead the development process from start to finish. Your work will directly influence our service quality, operational costs, and the Orbis Database - a premier global resource on private companies with data on more than 500 million companies worldwide. This position is a remote 12-month contract-to-hire with the intention of converting the position to full time.



Responsibilities:

  • Implement programs in C#/.NET core
  • Decompose modules in micro services
  • Work with SQA and DevOps Engineers to improve code quality and automation efforts
  • Utilise Visual Studio as the primary development environment.
  • Create and consume REST APIs
  • Write unit & integration tests



Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong experience of software development experience, with a strong background in C# and a keen interest in React, and ideally NextJS.
  • Solid understanding of agile development methodologies.
  • Proven success in IT, adept at guiding results across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong experience with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and React for front-end development.
  • Expertise in Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure), and SQL.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB, DynamoDB.
  • A track record of conducting comprehensive code, design, and architecture reviews.
  • Innovative problem-solving capabilities with a knack for addressing complex issues.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills, with a strong capacity to lead development teams.
