Working with agile frameworks (Scrum) and collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, you'll lead the development process from start to finish. Your work will directly influence our service quality, operational costs, and the Orbis Database - a premier global resource on private companies with data on more than 500 million companies worldwide. This position is a remote 12-month contract-to-hire with the intention of converting the position to full time.



Responsibilities:

  • Implement programs in C#/.NET core
  • Decompose modules in micro services
  • Work with SQA and DevOps Engineers to improve code quality and automation efforts
  • Utilise Visual Studio as the primary development environment.
  • Create and consume REST APIs
  • Write unit & integration tests



Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong experience of software development experience, with a strong background in C# and a keen interest in React, and ideally NextJS.
  • Solid understanding of agile development methodologies.
  • Proven success in IT, adept at guiding results across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong experience with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and React for front-end development.
  • Expertise in Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure), and SQL.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB, DynamoDB.
  • A track record of conducting comprehensive code, design, and architecture reviews.
  • Innovative problem-solving capabilities with a knack for addressing complex issues.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills, with a strong capacity to lead development teams.
