ITP are delighted to be partnered with an exciting manufacturing business in Sheffield, who are looking to appoint an Engineering Manager on to their site. Supplying a number of high value products into a lucrative sector, this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious technical professional to really drive positive change.


As the Engineering Manager, you’ll oversee all engineering operations, ensuring projects run smoothly and improvements are implemented effectively. You’ll work closely with the team to deliver practical solutions, manage designs, and keep projects on track. This is a hands-on role where your technical expertise and leadership skills will make a real difference.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring they’re delivered on time and within budget.
  • Use your CAD skills to review, refine, and sometimes create designs, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Manage and support the engineering team, ensuring everyone has the tools and guidance they need to do their best work.
  • Look for ways to improve our processes and workflows, making things more efficient and effective.
  • Tackle technical challenges and find practical solutions to keep things running smoothly.


What We’re Looking For

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  • Strong background in CAD design, engineering project management, and leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • A hands-on approach to solving problems and improving systems.
  • Someone who can spot opportunities to make things better and isn’t afraid to implement changes.
