Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operations Officer to lead the launch and management of electronic money and payment solutions, focusing on both B2B and B2B2C segments. The role will lead a cross-functional team responsible for all Operations including Contact Center, Collections, Disputes, Fraud Investigations, Settlements, Payments, Fulfilment, and Control functions.


We believe in leveraging Workflow engines, Decision Engines, and AI to drive operational efficiencies and ALSs. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in Operations and Risk Management complimented by leveraging the best technology platforms to drive down cost-to-income ratios and optimize RoE.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all operational aspects of the company, including payment processing, compliance, and customer support.  
  • Develop and implement business strategies, operational processes, and performance metrics to drive efficiency and scalability.  
  • Collaborate with the executive team to set and execute company goals and ensure alignment with long-term objectives.
  • Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements and risk management, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of the payment and e-money industry.
  • Optimize and innovate existing payment systems and processes for cost efficiency and quality service.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse operations team, ensuring high performance and professional development.  
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for product or service enhancements.  
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with partners, vendors, and stakeholders to enhance business growth.


Requirements

  • Proven experience as a COO or similar leadership role in the fintech, payment, or e-money industry.  
  • In-depth understanding of payment systems, regulatory compliance, and risk management.  
  • Strong strategic and business development skills with a proven track record of scaling operations.  
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.  
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.  
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.  
  • A strong network in the fintech and financial services sector is a plus.
