Senior Reversioning producer

OverviewThe Senior Reversioning Producer is responsible for creating compliant and on-brand content for all channels and platforms across the UK & EMEA digital and linear businesses. The position is essential to produce and deliver versions in line with the technical specifications, clock patterns, all internal Standards & Practices and domestic and international regulations, and in line with editorial best practice.As a Senior role supporting the full departmental remit, the position necessitates an advanced knowledge of regulatory compliance, exceptional communication skills, a high level of personal motivation and adaptability and the ability to react thoughtfully and decisively to multiple consideration in an often time-pressured environment. Additionally, the role required the candidate to be well-versed with all aspects of the creative and production processes, including scripting and directing Voice Over talents.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide clear and accurate edit instructions and direction in line with business requirements such as technical and editorial specifications, to ensure reversioned content fulfils all requirements across digital and linear platformsEnsure all aspects of Ofcom, Nicam, BLM and other regulatory codes of practice and cultural sensitivities across the EMEA and international business, are applied through appropriate edit decisions and certification.Create additional content versions in line with compliance regulations and agreed business requirementsMaintain editorial and storytelling integrity across all edited versions.Uphold all brand values and adhere to internal Standards & PracticesRescript content and direct Voiceover Talent for key promotable revoices in line with channel requirementsSupport bespoke editing and localisation required for Content Sharing titles and complex non-English acquisitionsDevise creative solutions to compliance, editorial and workflow challenges to create the best outcome for our content.Undertake additional project requests and new business requirements eg channel launches, customisations and ad hoc tasks, as requiredEvaluate and assess potential content, advising the most appropriate reversioning approachBe responsible for all appropriate reporting and make sure information is clear, accurate and up to date, including compliance reporting, approval forms, scripts etc.Review and collaborate on programmes presenting complex legal, compliance or editorial issues to provide feedback to colleagues and help build a coherent and aligned departmental approach.Liaise with key stakeholders when required eg Legal and Compliance, to access expert advice, discuss best practice and determine the most suitable approach to meet the requirements of the businessProvide guidance and mentoring across the whole team, supporting compliance and content queries and general development.Qualifications & Experiences:Extensive production or reversioning experience within an international broadcaster.Advanced knowledge and extensive experience in understanding and applying complex EMEA compliance regulations – including Ofcom, Nicam and cultural sensitivity considerations.The ability to acquire and apply further compliance and regulatory knowledge across international broadcast markets.Command of Post Production processes – an ability to interpret, articulate clear edit instructions and apply technical edit considerations.Excellent proven script writing skills and VO Talent directing, and deep understanding of programme narratives and story arcsAbility to multi-task, work calmly under pressure and prioritise in order to comply with tight business and TX critical deadlines.A solution focused approach with confident decision-making skills.The ability to work effectively with colleagues across the international business.Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as attention to detail.Experience of working in international TV and a genuine passion for and interest in the WBD portfolio of brandsThe ability to embrace a dynamic, changing environment and acquire and develop skills to meet business requirementsProficiency in another European language/s is desirable.
