We are recruiting a Manager of Strategic Advisory Service Line. This position plays a pivotal role in driving two critical initiatives: establishing a Project Management Office (PMO) for ongoing government projects and developing a new service line for Strategic Consultancy Services tailored to the government sector in Saudi Arabia. This position requires a visionary leader with exceptional project management and strategic consulting skills.


Job Responsibilities:


1º PMO Establishment and Enhancement:

• Strategic Vision: Develop and implement the PMO framework for government projects, aligning with the overall strategic objectives of Applus.

• Project Oversight: Provide guidance to project managers, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

• Process Improvement: Continuously enhance project management practices, incorporating industry best practices and innovative methodologies.

• Risk Mitigation: Evaluate risks and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

• Collaboration: Work closely with project teams and stakeholders to foster a collaborative environment and ensure successful project delivery.


2º Strategic Consultancy Service Line Development:

• Market Positioning: Identify opportunities within ministries, municipalities, and government-owned companies to position Applus as a leading provider of strategic consultancy services.

• Client Acquisition: Cultivate relationships with key government stakeholders to secure contracts for strategic advisory services.

• Solution Design: Propose tailored strategic solutions that consider government constraints and objectives, delivering high-impact results.

• Model Evaluation: Assist clients in evaluating various strategic options to determine the most effective course of action.

• Tender Preparation: Prepare comprehensive tender documents that meet government requirements and showcase Applus' capabilities.

• Assemble a Skilled Team: Recruit and develop a dedicated team of experts specialized in strategic consultancy to deliver high-quality services.

• Performance Management: Implement a robust performance management system to track progress and ensure alignment with service line objectives.

• Risk Assessment: Evaluate risks associated with proposed solutions and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.


Technical requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, management, or a related field.

• Extensive experience in project management, with a proven track record of establishing and leading PMOs.

• Strong background in strategic consultancy, particularly within the government sector.

• Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

• Fluent in English. Fluent in Arabic is desirable

• Proficiency in risk management and process improvement methodologies.

• Master’s degree is preferred.

• Knowledge in Saudi Arabia government regulations and processes.
