The Business Development Manager is responsible for the establishment and growth of Micro-X’s Mobile DR sales through a distribution network and with a view to explore options for direct sales. A key focus will be achieving growth and profitability targets, whilst advising leadership on strategies to ensure long term customer needs addressed appropriately. A Clinical Apps background within Radiology would be beneficial to this role.


Responsibilities:

·     Establish the Rover distribution business for EMEA including leading the creation of all relevant processes and systems.

·     Provide market feedback and support launch strategy planning for wider Micro-X product range.

·     Build strong relationships with key customers (including end-users) to build effective launch plans and long-term growth strategies.

·     Key representative of the Micro-X Brand in the EMEA region.

·     Assist in the preparation of tenders for Rover sales within the EMEA region.

·     Attend conferences and trade shows on behalf of Micro-X, including establishment of any stands/product displays.

·     Develop and execute the global commercial strategy for each business unit in line with Micro-X's corporate objectives.

·     Devise a pricing strategy to optimise the benefits of disruptive technology and track targets.

·     Drive the establishment of customer relationship management processes, metrics and systems.

·     Support product development and program prioritisation with market analysis and feedback.

·     Manage and Maintain Contractual and Pricing documents for channel partners working with Head of Sales and Legal Counsel.

·     Work as part of the Senior Leadership Team to develop and execute corporate strategy.


International/domestic travel up to 50%


Key Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in medical device sales.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Medical Radiology, preferably EMEA based.
  • Experience in a highly regulated environment preferred.
  • Experience as a technical/applications trainer a plus.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
