Operational Support Specialist (6-Month Contract) - London

Daily Rate: £117 Inside IR35


Are you an experienced Operational Support Specialist looking for your next challenge? We are offering a dynamic 6-month contract role based in London with a leading global consulting firm, known for driving innovation and efficiency across various industries.


Responsibilities:

  • Operational Support: Provide daily operational assistance, focusing on Payments and Japanese Corporate remittance activities, ensuring high-quality booking and settlement services.
  • Workflow Management: Oversee EMEA workflows, manage work distribution, and handle issues and investigations, producing detailed Management Information and statistics.
  • Outsourced Operations: Manage and authorize outsourced remittance and ancillary operations, including SEPA transactions, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Issue Resolution & Reporting: Quickly identify and resolve errors, report to senior staff, and maintain control over nostro outstanding balances.
  • Project Support: Assist in special projects and cross-train within the team to enhance group capabilities.


About You:

  • Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEPA transactions, current account management, and multi-currency payment processes.
  • System Proficiency: Adept with various operational systems and proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Awareness: In-depth knowledge of Money Laundering procedures and global compliance regulations.
  • Teamwork & Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage complex queries and contribute to team success.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Japanese, German, French, or Italian is a plus.
