Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Test Lead with a strong background in Avaloq to join a Wealth Management company based in London. The successful candidate will lead our testing efforts, ensuring the quality and reliability of our Avaloq banking software solutions. This role involves overseeing the entire testing lifecycle, from planning and strategy to execution and delivery.


Test Management:


  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for Avaloq projects.
  • Coordinate and lead all testing activities, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).


Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all testing procedures comply with company standards and industry best practices.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.


Collaboration:

  • Work with project managers, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Facilitate communication between testing team and other departments to ensure alignment and understanding of testing goals.


Reporting:

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of testing activities, results, and quality metrics.
  • Provide regular status reports to stakeholders and management on testing progress and any issues encountered.


Continuous Improvement:

  • Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in testing technologies and methodologies.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing
  • Extensive experience with Avaloq Banking Suite and a deep understanding of its architecture and functionalities.
  • Proven track record of managing testing projects in a financial services environment.


Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in testing tools and frameworks such as [Insert relevant tools, e.g., Selenium, JIRA, HP ALM].
  • Strong knowledge of test automation strategies and tools.
  • Experience with SQL and scripting languages for test data setup and validation.


Soft Skills:

  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in software testing
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Prior experience with banking and financial services projects.
  • Familiarity with other banking software solutions and their integration with Avaloq.
