Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and proactive Marketing Specialist to take ownership of all marketing activities at Vertex Agility. In this independent role, you will lead our marketing strategy, working closely with the business development team, engineering experts, and the CEO to establish a compelling brand presence.

Your primary objective will be to position Vertex Agility as a trusted partner for tech companies by creating engaging content, strengthening our online presence, and driving high-quality leads to support business growth.


Key Responsibilities

Content Creation and Strategy

  • Produce high-quality, engaging content, including blogs, case studies, whitepapers, and multimedia assets, to highlight our expertise and success stories.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to translate complex concepts into accessible, audience-friendly content.
  • Plan and implement content strategies that drive inbound traffic and lead generation.

Website and Social Media Management

  • Oversee the design and content strategy of the website, ensuring it is optimised for user experience, lead generation, and SEO best practices.
  • Manage and grow our social media presence across platforms, creating tailored content to engage a professional audience and generate meaningful interactions.


Campaign Development and Execution

  • Design and deliver marketing campaigns to promote Vertex Agility’s services and thought leadership.
  • Develop targeted outreach strategies, including email marketing, account-based marketing (ABM), and social media advertising.
  • Analyse campaign performance and provide actionable insights to improve future efforts.

Brand Building and Thought Leadership

  • Identify opportunities for thought leadership, such as webinars, industry events, and speaking engagements.
  • Ensure all content and marketing materials align with Vertex Agility’s brand identity and values.

Performance Analysis and Reporting

  • Track and report on key marketing metrics, such as website traffic, social media engagement, lead conversion rates, and campaign ROI.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and maximise marketing effectiveness.

  • Proven ability to create engaging, high-impact content (portfolio required).
  • A creative thinker with a strong design eye and an understanding of what performs well on different platforms.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
  • A self-starter who thrives in an independent role and can confidently generate and execute ideas.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • A passion for technology and the ability to translate technical expertise into marketable stories.

Desirable Experience

  • A degree in Marketing or equivalent professional experience.
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing tools and strategies, including SEO, marketing automation platforms, and CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Experience in the technology or consulting industries.
  • Skills in video production, graphic design, or other multimedia content creation.
  • Knowledge of account-based marketing (ABM) or lead-nurturing strategies.
