The Role:
We are working with an exciting law firm who are looking for a Corporate Governance Assistant to join their team in London.
The role will involve direct client communications and independently leading a wide range of corporate governance and company secretarial matters, whilst supporting the Legal Director and Senior Paralegal with complex matters.
Responsibilities:
- Administer the Firm’s registered office and SAIL address services
- Prepare and handle board meetings
- Provide Corporate Governance advice for the incorporation of companies
- Assist with updating statutory registers and filing documents with Companies House
- Support due diligence efforts and manage data rooms for corporate transactions
- Conduct company and completion searches
Requirements:
- Prior experience in Corporate Governance is essential.
- Solid understanding of the Companies Act 2006 and basic corporate governance requirements.
- Specific qualifications in Company Secretarial work or an interest in obtaining them is also desirable.
