As a Senior Java Engineer, you'll act as number 2 to the Head of Engineering and take a lead role in building cutting-edge platforms that captivate fans and deliver unforgettable experiences.


You'll have the chance to design and develop robust systems, collaborate with talented teams across different areas, and take ownership of new features that will significantly impact both our business and our clients.


Hybrid 3 days in MCR office


Key responsibilities:


  • Oversee backend development using Java.
  • Maintain and enhance our infrastructure using code.
  • Contribute to frontend development and design decisions.
  • Work closely with developers, designers, and stakeholders.
  • Take charge of new feature development.
  • Stay up-to-date with tech trends.
  • Identify and prevent potential problems.
  • Promote DevOps practices.
  • Handle daily operational issues for customers.
  • Participate in on-call support.



Key skills needed:


  • Over 5 years of hands-on experience with Java, particularly with Spring Boot.
  • Skilled in AWS and infrastructure automation tools like Terraform.
  • Knowledgeable in NoSQL database technologies.
  • Experienced in overseeing project development, collaborating closely with stakeholders and engineers.
  • Excellent analytical, programming, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity or keen interest in broadcast and streaming technologies.
  • Proven leadership in managing technical projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in Java, with a focus on Spring Boot.
  • Strong capabilities in AWS and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Solid foundation in NoSQL databases.
  • Exceptional analytical and coding expertise.
