Hybrid 3 days in MCR office | £65k - £90k (DOE)


As a Senior Java Engineer, you will:


  • Lead Backend Development: Architect, design, and develop robust and scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Optimise Performance: Identify and implement performance optimisations to ensure seamless user experiences.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Embrace Cloud Technologies: Leverage the power of AWS to build cloud-native applications and infrastructure.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously explore and adopt emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.


To succeed in this role, you should possess:


  • Proven Java Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
  • AWS Proficiency: Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
  • Database Mastery: Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or DynamoDB.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: A keen ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and devise effective solutions.
  • Passion for Innovation: A drive to explore new technologies and approaches to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
