Insight Investment is looking for a Finance Associate to join the Finance Analysis team in London. In this role, you will provide functional and analytical support for the Financial Analysis and Finance Operations Team.


Role Responsibilities

Revenue reporting and analysis

  • Run the segregated revenue accrual process and present on a monthly basis to the senior members of the finance team
  • Work with key individuals (both internal and external) to ensure accuracy and completeness of revenue accruals
  • Where required, support projects for process improvement using Anaplan and/or Tableau
  • Support in the quarterly forecasting and annual planning rounds
  • Provide support for the annual management fee audit


KPI reporting

  • Produce core KPIs (AUM, AR, Net Flows and ANNR) on a monthly/weekly basis and ensure data is accurate, complete and timely
  • Assist on control and governance initiatives liaising with the Data Management Office (DMO) and Corporate Product Team (CPT)
  • Ensure business data is gathered appropriately where required, and flag and help resolve any data issues


Management Information

  • Assist in producing MI deliverables for C-suite executives
  • Pro-actively develop automated management information using Tableau
  • Assist in reviewing management information produced by other members of the team
  • Support internal stakeholders on ad hoc queries where required


Experience Required

  • Degree, 2.1 minimum
  • Strong academic background
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups etc)
  • Looking to further career within a finance function
