Red Diamond Executive Headunters are hiring We require a Non-Executive Director with a strong financial orientation for one of our clients based in the West Yorkshire area.


The successful candidate will work alongside the Board Chair. He/she will liaise between the Family Council & the Executive Team to look after the best interests of the shareholders & support the Family Council’s oversight responsibilities in particular regarding the business’s financial performance.


The role will require in-person attendance at a quarterly board meeting, several Family Council meetings per year (typically via video conference) and some in-person attendance at the head office for interaction with the management team.


The contract will be for approximately 12 days per year. As a member of the Board, he/she will play a vital role in providing strategic guidance, ensuring sound fiscal management, and contributing to the overall success and sustainability of the company.


Key Skills / Attributes are as follow:


Must have previous experience leading the finance function of a Textiles / Industrial Manufacturing organisation.

Professionally qualified: ACA / ACCA / CIMA

Fantastic relationship builder - very good with people - strong commercial acumen.

Previous experience managing shareholders and senior leadership teams.
