About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and help build the infrastructure behind the first fully decentralised perpetuals exchange (DEX), which utilizes a Central Limit Order Book (CLOB) on an EVM chain.
You will play a critical role in managing and maintaining the systems that connect users to our DEX and ensure the transmission of external data to the platform. Working closely with the Principal Backend Engineer, you will focus on developing and sustaining infrastructure that supports both web and mobile clients, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability across the system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure components for both production and testing environments.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, addressing any failures or scalability needs proactively.
- Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth development and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that the infrastructure supports both frontend and backend applications.
- Ensure that infrastructure is secure and follows best practices for automation, identity management, and cloud security.
About You:
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering.
- Strong experience in configuring, deploying, and monitoring secure production systems at scale on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, etc.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure components like data pipelines, in-memory databases, notification systems, and virtualized environments.
- Expertise in cloud best practices, particularly around automation and security.
- A track record of leading cross-functional initiatives to launch and maintain production-grade systems.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.
Bonus Points:
- Experience working in high-paced startup environments.
- Familiarity with DeFi technologies, including EVM, DEXs, and Perpetuals.
- Proficiency with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or similar platforms.
