The Role:
As a Junior Funds Associate, you will play a key role in advising financial institutions — including asset managers, financial sponsors, banks, and insurance companies — on a wide range of regulatory obligations, internal governance, and compliance arrangements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising clients on the structuring, establishment, and operation of various pooled capital enterprises, including private equity funds, real estate funds, credit funds, infrastructure funds, hedge funds, and managed accounts.
- Providing guidance on regulatory obligations, internal governance, and compliance frameworks.
- Staying up-to-date with evolving market practices, standards, and regulatory developments to provide cutting-edge advice.
Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer with 1+ PQE, currently practicing in London at a Magic Circle, Silver Circle, international, or peer US firm.
- Strong academic background.
- Broad experience across the full spectrum of private funds work.
- Solid knowledge of UK and EU regulation of funds and asset managers.
- Excellent client management skills, with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
