Are you a seasoned IT professional with a passion for enhancing end-user experiences?


Our prestigious client, a renowned global insurance powerhouse, is seeking a dynamic Desktop Services Manager to join their London team and spearhead transformative initiatives in desktop services management.


As the Desktop Services Manager, you'll be managing desktop services operations, ensuring seamless daily functionality, optimising user experiences, and leading a talented support team. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, initiate process improvements, and be the driving force behind the desktop services transformation journey.


Responsibilities:

  • Enhance customer journey for user base when engaging with IT Service
  • Oversees the daily operations of desktop service
  • Managing / Leadership duties for support teams
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align desktop services with business goals and IT strategies
  • Leads process improvement efforts to streamline desktop service delivery and boost efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and industry regulations related to desktop computing.


Key Skills

  • Background in IT service management or related field with a focus on desktop services
  • Proven track record in delivering IT services effectively
  • Familiarity with endpoint management tools like Endpoint Manager, SCCM, and JAMF
  • Proficient understanding and application of ITIL principles.
  • Hands-on experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Proficient in team management and fostering a collaborative work environment
  • Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder management
  • Strategic thinker with problem-solving capabilities
