Account Executive


Hybrid London


Our client is seeking a motived Sale Account Executive to join its successful Retail Events sales team. You will work across a portfolio that specialise in B2B events across home, interiors, giftware, fashion retail sectors. These events connect tens of thousands of retailers with sourcing opportunities from leading brands, manufacturers, distributors from around the world.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy to drive new business and maintain existing customer relationships. You will become the linchpin for our event clients, cultivating robust relationships through consistent engagement—think follow-up calls, client meetings and consultative selling.


The role


  • Carry out direct consultative selling to existing, lapsed and potential new business clients
  • Maintaining and building relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline
  • Identifying and understanding client’s needs
  • Manage incoming leads and sales communications with colleagues.
  • Continuously develop market and product knowledge.


Key Requirements


  • Previous experience in a Sales /Account Executive position
  • Have a track record of successfully achieving and exceeding your targets and KPIs
  • A drive to succeed and a proven ability to be resilient and overcome challenges.
  • High quality communication skills along with good presentation skills
  • Salesforce/CRM experience is desirable.
  • A positive team player
