MP&L Supervisor

About the Role
As an MP&L supervisor you’ll be coordinating and monitoring the logistics operation. Responsible for all on shift Health, Safety, Environmental issues arising.
How you will contribute
- Responsible for all on shift Health, Safety, Environmental issues arising including: - Full Safety incident investigation and corrective action implementation. Ensuring all employees understand the need for safe working. Ensure the adherence of site H&S procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring inbound deliveries are received and tipped as per schedule. Achieving all internal KPI by allocating correct resource and coaching team to manage the day-to-day business using the business objectives.
- Manage the update of all Team board documentation to capture real time performance and identify improvements. Confirm daily activity is being carried out to achieve KPI.
- Responsible for identifying and implementing corrective actions for issues arising that affect the successful achievement of departmental KPI as well as specifying process improvements that will enhance operational performance.
- Responsible for representing the department at internal and external customer meetings.
- Communicate departmental shift issues and performance at team briefs. Attend team board reviews and board walks
- Manage manpower resource effectively to support customer delivery requirements and also Lean Manufacturing principles – including the implementation of CI activity.
- Drive company Absence Control Procedures to ensure maximum attendance levels. Deal with all personnel issues on shift in line with Company Policies.
- Responsible for managing development and maintenance of accurate standard work documentation.
What you will bring
- Two or more years of experience in supervisory roles.
- Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity.
- Understanding of business planning.
- Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics.
- Ability to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential issues.
