CSG Talent have partnered with a market leading Water Quality and Testing company, whose history stretches back centuries and who have a global presence. Their mission? To safeguard water


We're looking for a new Export Business Development Manager, this role can be based remotely in the UK and combines international travel, sales and business development, and technical innovation.


What are we looking for?


As the Export Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving the Channel Sales strategy in Northeast Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia and delivering sustainable sales growth in line with company strategy. You will also be responsible for:


  • Researching, identifying and implementing effective and profitable new routes to market.
  • Managing and growing distributor sales in existing and new territories and applications whist maximising Gross Margin.
  • Quantifying market potential by geographical area and customer segment and set realistic priorities to proactively engage with and sell into these markets.
  • Keeping abreast of innovation and market trends within the technical application field and follow and analyse competitor activity.

What do we need from you?


The most important thing we need for this position is experience working in an Export role and managing a network of distributors. We also need:


  • Demonstrated experience in Sales and Sales Management and a hunter mentality.
  • Technical credibility internally and externally, possessing the ability to discuss with customers' technical teams and utilise problem-solving skills to address customer needs.
  • Self-motivation and ambition, with a desire to continuously improve.
  • French language skills would be a big plus
  • Willingness to travel internationally to the Middle East, Northeast Africa and Southeast Asia.
