Are you a gaming enthusiast with a knack for event management and tech savvy skills? Do you have what it takes to manage our cutting-edge gaming experience in London? If yes, we are looking for you to join our team as an Assistant Event Manager.

 

Your main responsibility in this role is to lead our team of experienced brand ambassadors to deliver exceptional customer service and provide an unforgettable experience to our guests. You will ensure all technical aspects of the space are running smoothly and be able to quickly address and issues that arise.

 

You’ll work on projects and events with some of the biggest influencers and publishers in gaming, ensuring an excellent level of communication & event expertise is brought to the table. You must be confident in your presentation skills and be able to provide feedback and insights in a concise manner.

 

As a people-oriented individual with great gaming knowledge, you will also assist guests with their gameplay, demonstrating tips and tricks and educating our brand ambassadors to ensure a top-notch customer experience.

 

This position involves a mix of weekday, evening, and weekend shifts shared amongst the team as our venue is open every single day. Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure an excellent experience by using your gaming knowledge to assist and advise guests in various games and set an example for our brand ambassadors to follow.
  • Use your tech knowledge to quickly fix any technical issues that may arise within the space.
  • Work professionally with publishers, talent and artists on occasion – knowledge of live-streaming a plus.
  • Supervise staff to ensure a top-notch gaming experience for our guests.
  • Build and manage relationships with ASG, clients, partners, and agencies.
  • Provide internal feedback on staffing and operations to management, keeping all systems up to date.
  • Assist with promotional events and non-role-related projects as required.
  • Improve working practices and processes to optimise productivity
  • Promote company ethics, safety, and environmental consciousness
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and uphold company values of integrity, innovation, teamwork, and accountability

 

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

 

  • Genuine passion and knowledge of gaming products and the industry as a whole
  • Top-notch technical skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Driven to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Related work experience within gaming and/or events 
  • Understanding of promotional industry a plus
