Company Description

Funclass is a gamified virtual classroom tailored for K12 online tutoring to maximise student engagement, making online classes as fun as a game. Our mission is to provide the most engaging and effective online tutoring experience for young learners and teachers.


Location: Remote. UK-based preferred


Working Hours: Flexible, 3+ days per week

About the Role:

This is a voluntary UNPAID remote sales & marketing role. As a Sales & Marketing Intern at Funclass, you will play a pivotal role in our go-to-market strategy. You will work closely with our cofounders and product team to drive sales and promote our webapp to tutors and students all around the world. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in sales, marketing, and business development while making a positive impact on online tutoring.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct marketing campaigns: Help create and execute digital marketing strategies (social media, email, and content marketing) to grow our brand presence.
  • Develop sales leads: Assist in identifying and reaching out to potential customers (online tutors and online tutoring company owners)
  • Assist in content creation: Develop engaging content (blogs, social media posts, videos) that communicates Funclass’s value proposition.
  • Market research: Conduct research to identify new growth opportunities, competitors, and trends in the online tutoring industry.
  • CRM management: Help maintain and update the CRM system with sales and customer information
  • Customer onboarding: Show new and potential customers a live demo of our platform
  • Collaborate: Work closely with the product team to align marketing efforts with our overall growth strategy.


Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in sales, marketing, and the startup ecosystem.
  • Prior sales, marketing, or startup experience is a strong plus, especially in the EdTech field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Passion for EdTech and making a positive impact.
