Rate: £150 per day

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone local to Newport Pagnell who enjoys practical work and is eager to learn.

About the Role

This is not a highly technical position but is perfect for someone enthusiastic about IT and wanting to develop their skills. Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting a desk move project, including setting up and sorting IT equipment and cables.
• Providing basic support for IT systems, including desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
• Following technical processes and maintaining high security standards.
• Assisting the IT team with day-to-day tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Tech Environment

While this role doesn't require in-depth technical expertise, exposure to the following technologies will be beneficial for personal development:

• Windows, macOS, iOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Office 365 and remote desktop tools.
• Networking fundamentals (IP, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi).
• IT ticketing systems such as Deskpro.
• Exposure to PowerShell or Bash scripting and Cloud Hybrid infrastructure is a plus.
