High-growth BCorp is seeking an IT Business Partner to support a highly transformative business unit within an established business. Within the transformation roadmap, there are a number of operational changes around digital maturity and transformation, which will impact multiple IT platforms that underpin the business unit and which may also impact other / adjacent business units (in a good way re best practice sharing).


As IT Business Partner, you will work closely with the SLT (business and IT) to help them to define, scope and manage the timeline for the delivery of IT changes.

You will also work with the wider team to identify opportunities for process, data and technology synergies between Business Units and the chance to roll out features across multiple Business Units where the benefits and business value is there.


Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Product Manager and Project Manager, you will plan, organise and prioritise product change and improvement requests for your designated Business Unit.
  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders ranging from directors, sales teams, customers and partners, to ensure alignment and delivery of value/benefits.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, data engineers, data analysts, designers and third-party suppliers to assess technical dependencies and efficiencies.
  • Contribute to the efficient and productive working practices of the transformation function.


About you:

  • In your career, you have perhaps worn the Business Analyst or Change Management hat with skills in both areas that you can bring to this role, IE the ability to really understand what the business is trying to achieve, their pain points and help them to think about solutions, and managing the delivery of them.
  • Strong communicator, able to interact with a wide range of business stakeholders and extract the information you need to prioritise and then deliver against the same.
  • Any experience in digital transformation, especially from more manual / analogue environment to one which is digital would be advantageous.
  • Industry experience in “Muddy Boots” / Field based business would be highly advantageous such as Housing Association, Rail, Infrastructure, Construction, Maintenance etc.
  • Well organised, analytical mind, delivery oriented.
  • An interest in Product Ownership / Management – this role will give you the opportunity to work closely with the Business Unit Product Manager, so any aspiration or interest in Product as a career area could be useful.
