Position: Tender Engineer - Renewable Energy



As a Tender Engineer in Renewable Energy, you will be responsible for supporting the tendering process for renewable energy projects, ensuring the preparation and submission of competitive bids that meet client requirements and project objectives. Your technical expertise, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams will be critical in securing new business opportunities and driving the growth of our renewable energy portfolio.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of tender proposals for renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and high voltage projects.
  • Collaborate with the tender engineering team to analyze project requirements, conduct technical assessments, and develop optimized solutions that align with client specifications and budget constraints.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as engineering, procurement, and finance departments to gather necessary information and inputs for tender documentation.
  • Support the development of technical specifications, cost estimates, project schedules, and other tender deliverables in accordance with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to enhance the competitiveness of tender submissions.
  • Review and evaluate tender documents, contracts, and legal terms to identify risks and opportunities and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in tender review meetings and presentations, providing technical insights and recommendations to enhance proposal quality and competitiveness.
  • Maintain accurate records of tender activities, correspondence, and documentation, ensuring timely and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy fields.
  • 2-5 years of experience in tender engineering, project management, or related roles within the renewable energy industry.
  • Strong technical understanding of renewable energy systems and technologies (i.e. wind, substation, High voltage)
  • Proficiency in tender management processes, including bid preparation, document review, and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality in tender documentation and analysis.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
