Job Description:

Currently recruiting on behalf of a FinTech company, they are seeking an experienced Operational Resilience Contractor for a 6 month contract to join their team immediately. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Operational Resilience, with proven experience in defining and managing programs akin to business continuity or disaster recovery. You will be involved with the wider DORA programme.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive operational resilience strategies.
  • Lead and manage programs focused on business continuity and disaster recovery.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential operational disruptions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure organizational resilience.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of resilience programs, making necessary adjustments.
  • Provide training and guidance on operational resilience best practices.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to resilience initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, or Disaster Recovery.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and deliver programs successfully.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Financial Services experience.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications in Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, or related fields.
  • Experience in a similar contractor role.
