Senior Business Travel Consultant

Senior Business Travel Consultant - What will I be doing?

  • As a Senior Business Travel Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating seamless travel experiences for their corporate clients. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their travel requirements, preferences, and budget constraints. Provide expert advice and tailor travel solutions to meet their specific needs.
  • Booking Management: Efficiently manage travel bookings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client preferences and company policies.
  • Problem Resolution: Act as a point of contact for clients during their travel, addressing any issues or changes promptly and effectively.
  • Travel Coordination: Coordinate travel logistics, including itinerary planning, ticketing, visa assistance, and travel insurance arrangements.
  • Technology Utilisation: Utilise our client's advanced travel management systems and tools to streamline processes and deliver superior service to clients.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with corporate travel policies and regulations. Maintain accurate records and generate reports to track travel expenses and performance metrics.


Senior Business Travel Consultant Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in corporate travel management using a GDS is ideal.
  • If you do not have corporate travel experience but have worked in leisure travel as a travel consultant your application will be considered but this would be an entirely office-based role due to the training required
  • Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in travel booking systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A solid understanding of the travel industry and excellent teamwork skills.


Senior Business Travel Consultant -Additional Information:

They are paying a good competitive salary of between £27k - £35k depending on experience.

The role is ideally office-based Monday to Friday 9 – 5 but experienced corporate travel consultants would potentially be considered to work remotely. If you have less experience on the Corporate Travel side this will be office based in the Shrewsbury area.
