My Client, a specialist UK based Consultancy which specialises in Hydrology and Hydrogeology, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk Consultant to be based in Shrewsbury. Remote options and flexible working is available.

Applicants are required to have a strong MSc and/or BSc in a relevant discipline including Environmental Management, Hydrology or Civil Engineering and have experience working for UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments,Flood Estimation and hydraulic modelling using Tuflow or flood modeller.

It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience designing drainage solutions including soakaways and lagoons.

This exciting role will offer you full training and support and the chance to join a specialist UK based Consultancy based in Shrewsbury. This exciting role will involve varied Hydrological, Surface Water, Flood Risk and Hydraulic Modelling Projects forPrivate Sector Clients, Local Authorities and Housing Developers.

You will be required to complete technical work including Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications, Rainfall Analysis using FEH, Hydrological Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, Catchment Management Plans and design of Drainage Soakawaysand Lagoons.

You will also have the opportunity to be involved in site visits and training courses.
