THE COMPANY

Rise has partnered a growing online business based in West Yorkshire. They are growing the team and have created a new role for an Assistant Merchandiser to work closely with their fabulous Senior Merch who heads up this area and is big on mentoring and career development. You’ll be joining at a very exciting time, as they look to grow the team and categories even further giving lots of opportunities for progression within the business - a fab springboard for your merch career. 3 days office, 2 days home.


THE ROLE

Reporting into the Senior Merchandiser, you will help to run the department by:

  • Tracking sales performance, inventory levels, and markdowns throughout the season, identifying trends and patterns to make informed decisions and adjustments.
  • Analysing previous season performance to make commercial decisions.
  • Working closely with the Buying teams to successfully plan the ranges.
  • Communication and collaboration with suppliers, establishing trust and transparency in negotiations.
  • Forecasting demand with linecards to plan capacity.
  • Supporting the Merch Admin with administrative tasks and developing their skill set.
  • Providing support to Merch Admin with critical path management ensuring timely sailings and offering solutions to delays.
  • Working closely with warehouse team to manage intake capacity.
  • Working closely with customer service team to provide up to date information on stock availability.
