Financial Reporting Manager

Stott and May have partnered with a global telecommunications business, to help source a Finance Reporting Manager on a freelancing basis. This role will provide temporary cover in the finance team until September / October 2024.
CONTRACT
INSIDE IR35 (420-440 per/day)
HYBRID (2 days per week on site near Winchester – SO21)
Key accountabilities:
- Manage production of annual statutory accounts and external investor reporting (including covenant reporting)
- Manage production of external reporting ensuring clean audit reports and filing in line with deadlines. Supporting head of FC&C with stakeholder relationships.
- Prepare papers for Shareholder Board and Audit & Risk Committee meetings in respect of Group results and Statutory Accounts of main trading entities.
- Manage holding company(s) month end accounting and reporting
- manage debt and refinance accounting, including technical advice.
- Undertake ad hoc special accounting projects in support of the groups strategic plans as required, including work associated with financing prospectus.
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong experience of technical accounting and financial control including engagement with external stakeholders
- Extensive knowledge of current technical accounting principles
- Significant knowledge and use of Microsoft Office and Excel in particular.
- Business analytics and report writing capabilities. Experience working at board level and managing external stakeholders.
