About the Role:

Are you a proactive and personable Technology Operations Lead looking to make a significant impact in a rapidly growing FinTech? We’re on the hunt for a talented individual to join our client, a leading FinTech firm, where you’ll play a crucial role in shaping and delivering a world-class technology service across the UK, UAE, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia.


This position sits at the heart of a modern, cloud-first architecture and technology stack. Your mission? To ensure a seamless and consistent tech experience for all team members across multiple geographies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the daily operations of the TechOps function, managing a wide range of technologies and activities aligned with industry best practices and service excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with both technical and non-technical teams to scope, source, implement, maintain, and support key technologies.
  • Drive integration, automation, and orchestration initiatives to enhance user experience and efficiency.
  • Implement, maintain, and continuously improve IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, covering request, issue, incident, problem, and change management.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex projects, incidents, and problems, coordinating end-to-end resolution.
  • Foster effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management across the business, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in technology operations, including procurement, vendor management, endpoint management, network management, access control, and user support.
  • Hands-on expertise in macOS, Windows, and various cloud technologies, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Jira, Confluence, SSO, and zero-trust environments.
  • Background in a regulated tech environment with knowledge of international standards, preferably ISO 27001.
  • Advanced understanding of service management disciplines with qualifications such as ITIL, MCSE, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing, negotiating, and managing expectations.
  • Experience in cloud hosting environments like AWS and a plus if you’ve worked in Open Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech.
  • Leadership experience, whether managing a small team or mentoring individuals.
