JOB PURPOSE:

  • The Quality Engineer, Quality Assurance (QA) role is to lead quality assurance in project as assigned by the Quality Manager.
  • The position is a support function to ensure the project with the ISO 9001:2015, latest codes and specifications, and Client’s Quality Requirements.


QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Quality Assurance & Quality Control
  • Supporting project quality for T&I, EPCI or EPCIC
  • Valid ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor/ Assessor recognized by IRCA.
  • Coating, Testing of Piping, welding, NDT and fabrication knowledge is essential
  • Certification desired but Not Essential.
  • Experience working for IMCA contractor.

PROJECT RELATED:

  • Understand and Interpret Client’s Quality Requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Developing and Maintain a project quality management system and ensure implementation
  • Develop Project Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plan & and required project quality procedures.
  • Support the overall Project QAQC Team.
  • Assist in monitoring of inspection works.
  • Quality Check of Project documents.
  • Assist in monitoring quality requirements to ensure relevant quality documents/procedures and inspection works are performed as per approved quality documents/procedures.
  • Assist in controlling project documented information and quality records as required under the project.
  • Review vendor documents and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct audits of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
  • Review all QA/QC documents, including inspection reports, test procedures, and quality plans, ITP etc
  • Coordinating welding and non-destructive testing (NDT) activities, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Familiarity with pipeline pre-commissioning, testing, mechanical completion activities and involvement in ensuring successful mechanical completion and Handover.
  • Familiar with Jacket and Topside structure integration, T&I marine transportation, Heavy lifting activity.
  • Utilize Onshore and Offshore experience to effectively manage quality control activities in both environments associated within QA/QC.
  • Coordinate Interdepartmental activities to ensure seamless integration of quality processes across the project.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on quality-related matters. Carry out Technical Bid Evaluation of Vendor.
  • Participate Vendor kick off meetings, startup activity related to QA/QC, across the project.
  • Monitor project performance metrics related to quality and identified areas for improvement.
  • ASME.ASNT, API, AWS code, and classification rules such as DNV familiarization.
  • Supporting and following up nonconformance, root cause, correction, and corrective action until closing.
  • Conducting project quality audits, analyse the audit findings and tabulate data for improvement.
  • Management of worksite QC personnel.
  • Identify and investigation cost of poor quality cases.
