Role: Quality Engineer (Advanced Engineering)

Location: Woking, Surrey

Salary: circa.£35k + enhanced benefits package

Working Arrangements: On-site role, lunchtime Friday finish

Are you a tenacious problem-solver driven to ensure excellence in cutting-edge engineering? Our client, a player in advanced engineering technologies, seeks a skilled Quality Engineer to propel their processes and new product development activities to new levels.

The Role:

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you'll be instrumental in:

  • Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis: Swiftly diagnose issues, implement solutions, and safeguard against future problems.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyse data, optimize processes, and collaborate across teams to enhance precision and reliability.
  • New Product Development: Integrate quality assurance from the start, collaborating with R&D and Production to minimize potential defects.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build partnerships with Production, Purchasing, and other departments to instil quality throughout the supply chain.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in quality engineering within a complex manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth understanding of problem-solving methodologies (8D, PDCA, etc.).
  • Analytical mindset and exceptional data interpretation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quality management systems.
  • Team player with excellent communication abilities.
