Position: International Brand Manager
Location: Remote
Position Summary:
In this role, you will lead the international product portfolio and brand expression for our company. Your responsibilities will include extracting insights from various data sources to develop and execute innovative new products and brand presentations for consumers. Our company has built a motivated cross-functional team with high ambitions for the brand, and this position will be central to achieving those global ambitions. Key Responsibilities:
- Annual Planning: Customize annual brand plans using category and consumer insights from international markets to achieve business objectives.
- Business Analytics: Transform category and consumer data into insights that drive actionable recommendations across consumer targets, product platforms, media platforms, and brand initiatives.
- Product Development: Lead concepting, brief development, project success criteria, and P&L development.
- Launch Plans: Collaborate with marketing, sales teams, and cross-functional partners to develop insight-based sell-in stories, launch support, target customers, and volume forecasts for new products.
- Campaign Media Strategy: Lead the direction for audience targeting, media channel selection, KPI setting, and ongoing optimization to achieve brand goals.
- Campaign Creative Content Strategy: Lead the direction and execution of campaign and content creative.
- Shopper Marketing: Work closely with sales teams, brokers, and customer teams to develop and execute volume-driving programs that maximize ROI.
- Packaging Design & Shelf Presence: Improve the shelf presence of existing items through insight-based packaging solutions for primary packaging and shelf display.
- Agency Relationship Management: Effectively manage agency resources to ensure marketing plans are effective, efficient, and aligned to deliver annual brand objectives.
- Budget Management: Manage the budget for efficient and effective spending.
Knowledge and Characteristics:
- Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit willing to get hands dirty.
- MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
- At least 4 years of relevant marketing experience (P&L, brand strategy development and execution) across the EU.
- Experience with budget ownership, with P&L ownership preferred.
- Leadership experience with agencies and cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Familiarity with Nielsen or IRI data.
- Experience in audience targeting development.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong storytelling ability.
- Highly motivated with high energy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally in a global business environment.
- Prefers a collaborative, action-oriented culture encouraging the free exchange of ideas and information.
